Day 1: Anna

It was Sara’s birthday today, she is turning 11, we just stayed at home.

Matthew is going to move into the guest house and Sara is going to move into Matthew’s old room, then I will have my own room, and Lydia and Sammy will each have their own beds. But in order for Mathew to move into the guest room all the windows have to have screen and proper bars, so I spent a good bit of time putting screen on the window and Dad got some welders to come and put bars on the windows.

Matthew and Sammy are not feeling very well, neither is Dad. No one has a fever.

We went swimming today and it was really cold.

Because COVID hasn’t been so bad in Zambia and there are only 40 or so cases I think, we don’t really have to woriy about going out too much, or at least as much as people do in some other places. We are still trying to quarentine ourselves.

We still have plenty of things to do, we have a big yard, a pool, two puppies (which by the way are doing fine) and we have school and chores, and if we happen to have any time left, I will paint or draw with pastels or play guitar.

Guess what? We do Tai Chuan Do by Zoom now since we are on lockdown. I think they plan to set up a Google classroom for TCD starting next week.
    Praying for all of you!

  2. Wow, I loved reading your updates. I am glad you are keeping busy; I hope you do get some time to paint and draw and play the guitar. Dogs are a great way to use up extra time. Buddy is ALWAYS ready to play ball. Once he starts, there is no stopping him. I look forward to your updates.
    Love,
